During our busy season, a cocktail server will be in the lounge/waiting area.
This role consists of taking drink/ appetizer orders from guests waiting for a table. We want every guests to have what they need promptly even while waiting.
Cocktail servers have table side tablets that allow them to open tabs right in front of the guest. Their tabs can be closed or transferred to their table – ask guests which they prefer.
VERY IMPORTANT: The cocktailer and host must be in constant contact about transferring checks to the correct table once they are ready to be seated.
When the cocktail server has any down time, they can help bus and reset tables, help with glassware behind the bar, help the host with seating and take full bus tubs behind the bar to the dish pit.
